- Use reCAPTCHA so you actually do useful work when waking up (I understand the alarm is used for the early morning?).

- Does it come with an intensity-increasing sunlight-emitter to simulate the dawning of a new day? Just joking. I just saw you started this project. First of all, writing apps for Android is Java-only, so stop learning C and learn Java. Secondly, several ideas of interchange with other apps are feasible. Imagine a menu item in the alarm that let's the system make a selection of clothes for that day and present them in Collectionista (see launchpad, project of mine). Very possible through the use of intents. Another project of mine that uses notifications is Android's Fortune, it could be useful for you to check out the code.
