When nodes are added as friends which can be connected to directly, the user should be able to specify factors such as how the keys were exchanged (face to face, encrypted message, trusted intermediary, etc). This information can be used in making routing decisions - trusted nodes can be preferred slightly over untrusted nodes depending on the estimated traffic increase which would be incurred because of taking the less-efficient path.

Additionally, block inserts can be sent to trusted nodes first while untrusted nodes might be avoided altogether.
