Manages the desktop wallpaper from an applet
DesktopManager allows you to change the wallpaper on your desktop using an applet. There are two modes, random and manual. Random chooses an image randomly to put as your desktop wallpaper. It does this either when the applet is clicked on or at a set interval. Manual lets you manually choose the wallpaper from the context menu. You can change the "base directory" from the preferences dialog and then choose subdirectories of it from the context menu for choosing the images out of (either randomly or manually).
It currently has Xfce and GNOME support, although if I where to add it to awn-extras, I would take out Xfce support, because it's not very good at the moment.
It also shows the current wallpaper in the applet and can be configured to show the desktop on either middle or left clicks.
