Remove cairo-menu-classic applet

Registered by onox

From a user perspective, the cairo-menu-classic applet is more or less the same as cairo-menu. cairo-menu-classic seems to do a nasty little trick. According to moonbeam, cairo-menu "has a bug that shows up (somewhat inconsistently) with the placement of sub menus over top of the higher level menu item." To avoid redundant applets and reduce maintenance pressure, cairo-menu-classic should be removed.

Whiteboard

Removed from build system, but sources still in tree.

Is anybody working on that bug you mentioned? It's bothering me quite often. Also, gnome now has separate logout and shutdown menus. This should be reflected in cairo menu as well. Awesome would be if I could bring an opened Cairo Menu to the foreground with a special key combination. I'm quite dependent on Cairo Menu because I'm not running any gnome panels and the awn menu is useless to me because of blueprint "mouse-focus-issue" --dirk

(?)
