An AWN version of a 'tea timer'
One feature that I sorely miss from Docky is the timer docklett. Though theirs had a lot of room to improve (e.g. no way to store preset timers), it had a lot going for it. The primary way to set the time on it was to use the scroll wheel (unfortunately, it defaults to seconds which means adjusting minutes and hours require a special key press). Once set, a user could click on the timer icon and it would spawn a new icon which graphically emptied as the time went down, was pause-able, and could be reset and restarted. When the timer expired, a system notification was played (with optional sound) telling you the timer (and which one if you set a title) expired. The spawned icon could (via options) either automatically be dismissed or be dismissed via a click on it. Again, lots of room for improvement, but I think this is a fairly simple feature that would be useful in AWN.
