Specify which directions the bar may grow

There should be an option to specify which directions the bar may grow when non-launcher applications appear. Allowing single direction growth would provide a way to keep launchers in a fixed position in order to access them more quickly. Currently, the only way to get behavior like this is to position the bar to the corner of the screen, but it would be nice to allow this to happen regardless of position.
