Hooking taskmanager icons to running processes
Currently the taskmanager seems to associate running processes by the process name. There are 2 problems with this (that I can see). 1) If there are multiple processes with the same process name but different intents (like two firefox instances for different profiles, one for work one for personal) all processes get associated with the first one on the taskbar. 2) If there is a launcher which is named differently than the final running process, like if something is launched by a script. In those cases a 2nd icon appears in the taskbar rather than an arrow under the launcher.
The suggestion to solve this is to have an advanced option to use a search string (possibly regex) to associate the process to the icon in the taskmanager. In the firefox example, one could set the personal launcher's process string to "^firefox .* -P personal".
