Improve unit and functional test coverage of Bandit to help harden functionality for upcoming v1.0 release.

Test coverage can be improved across a number of current Bandit modules and should be implemented for any new Bandit functionality. It would be ideal to achieve 100% unit test coverage, but a baseline of 90% is the current goal.

Functional/integration tests should also be added to help improve test coverage for some of the new v1.0 features and any existing features as applicable.
