Select multiple/Drag albums directly from Album view into playlists

A future idea should be the ability to drag an album directly from the album view to a playlist in in the sidebar and have it added to that playlist. In addition, rather than have single click to enter an album, you should be able to select one (with a blue selection around it) and then select others when holding shift. Or, perhaps, have single click but have other options (such as select) upon mouse-over like in Marlin.

Drag and drop of an album into a playlsit is implemented.
What would be the advantage to being able to select multiple albums? One thing that comes to mind is that you can drag multiple albums. -- Scott
