This was a discussion from the start, not a spec. Notes will be added to checkbox roadmap documentation.
[jcollado] It's a shame this isn't going to be considered as an independent blueprint. There are a couple of things that I expected to be solved that I though fit well here. Namely:
- Having a standard way to show progress for a command that takes long time to complete
- If the output of the command is used in the test case description, use a placeholder symbol and display the description immediately to provide some feedback to the user (instead of a blank screen as it happens currently)
- In the report provide an improved display of multiline output for commands since it's difficult to find out the cause of a failure the way it's displayed right now.
[schwuk] These things were discussed in other sessions, and should be incorporated into the respective specs.
