Make covergloobus automatically run with supported music players
While it is possible to write a simple bash script to launch covergloobus and your favoured music player concurrently it would be nice if covergloobus were able to automatically detect the launch of a supported player and launch itself.
Two methods spring to mind immediately:
1. Develop a daemon designed to detect the launch of a supported player and subsequently launch covergloobus.
2. Develop a plug-in for each supported player designed to launch covergloobus, either when the player itself is launched or when a first track is played.
The later is a somewhat cumbersome approach as it would of course require at least one plug-in for each and every supported player. It would also preclude supporting music players that lack a plug-in architecture. Thus a daemon would seem to be the answer.
Kind Regards,
Lee Hyde.
