Eliminate powewr drain from stand-by mode

Just a feature I would like to see added, don't have the ability to impliment.
Right now the mini does a pretty good job of not fraining the battery in standby, but with it all being solid state, why does there have to be any. It would be nice to ba abel to close the lid, and come back ? weeks later (not that that would happpen)and still have battery.
