It should be extremely simple to add JSON-RPC support to django_xmlrpc (though we should probably change the name of the project afterwards; just a thought).
JSON-RPC should be added as an option to the main codebase, preferably without masses of configuration (i.e. it should simply be a matter of pointing calls at a view other than handle_xmlrpc()).
