Whiteboard
We need template presentations both in ODP and Keynote, as people use Macs and Linux. (We don't care so much about PowerPoint.) They should look alike - essentially one can be created first, then make a clone of it in the other software. Possibly this task can be split between 2 persons - or you can just go ahead and start with one version, then we'll ask someone to convert your template to the other version.
Versions of Drizzle logo as well as graphics used on the drizzle website are stored in lp:drizzle.org. (As of this writing, not yet merged, see lp:~hingo/drizzle.org/drupalgardens instead.) When done, you should upload the template back into this repository. Create a new subdirectory called "presentations" for these files.
As for general style guidance: keep it simple. Our devs have used black and white until now, don't scare them with anything too flashy.
The deliverables should be proper templates, not just empty presentations:
- saved as template file format (OTP instead of ODP for LO)
- default fonts, graphics styles and color schemes should be set properly to match the template colors
For LibreOffice it often happens that the size or layout of a presentation is distorted when moving between different versions, or between Linux vs Windows. See if you can create something where that doesn't happen.
If using Creative Commons licensed material, make sure they are appropriately credited somehow.
