Whiteboard
From our August 2010 Drizzle team meeting
- Don't know much about our user base and this would help us get better understanding of their configurations and usage
- Could be used to send crash reports
- Start by spinning up Rackspace host - statistics.
- How do we catch the data, need to make sure to keep it as simple as possible
- Would be optional for users to turn on/off. What is the default, on or off?
- Types of data to capture
* When server is turned on
* Running for x number of days, opened this many tables, basic operations
* Crash data would send stack trace (with scrubbed data)
- Users should be able to see the data before it is sent
- Reporting server can show aggregated anonymous data that anyone can look at it
