Slingshot Displayed Applications

I would like to propose an idea that came to my mind while I was having pain with Slingshot, because there were no easy way to show or hide apps in Slingshot.

So my idea would be to make a list of .desktop files and show them in elementary Tweaks under Slingshot. The user would be able to hide or show the apps with the ON/OFF switches.

Also very good feature would be to be able to create new launchers. The best idea would be to create them into "~/.local/share/applications" so there would be no need for password.

Maybe a good idea would be to be able to remove the App's launchers. I'm quite sure that users would be able to only remove user created launchers.
