If two windows are touching on an edge have a spot on the edge to allow the resizing of one window to also affect the other. As one grows the other shrinks.
This should be implemented as part of or efforts of tiled window management in gala.

This sounds good, but user would need a way to tell Gala "I want to resize them both" or "I want to resize only this one". ~grzesiek1e5
This ties in with tiled window management, which we really want as a feature in Gala, so maybe this should be adapted to include that objective as well. ~fabianthoma
