Support for high and very high ppi screens
Inkscape should support new very high ppi screens. A similar configuration as Ubuntu one for scaling factor for UI will be desirable.
As a philosophical matter, I think that a software to edit vectorial graphics, must be re-scalable by nature.
The problem is for high ppi resolutions, the UI appears too small, elements such as: menus, icons, cursors, handles, toolbars... should be scaled to be usable.
Illustrator have this scalling factor in configuration (I think because of the Apple retina screens). But this factor is only up to 2, and this is insufficient for high ppi. This is an oportunity to go ahead Illustrator :-P
Another way to do it, is to consider the SO configuration to do this automatically. In Ubuntu there are some apps that consider this scaling factor automatically, for example Libre Office ones. Unfortunately Inkscape doesn't.
Note: For high ppi, I mean for example 15.6 screens with UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution: 282ppi. A configuration relatively new for laptops, but that will be very common next year.
