Josm improvement for translators

Josm has a lot of translatable Strings, however there is no clear definition of terms like what is a trackpoint and what is a waypoint ? what difference is between those 2 words ?

These terms are from the gpx files user upload to OSM:

This is how I understand it:
*A waypoint is usually used as a marker for a feature (say a bus stop) manually marked by the user on there GPS device
*A trackpoint is a point on a track (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Course_(navigation)#Track) logged by a GPS.
