Sync with other calender apps

I know this is pretty far out, but I'd be cool if you could set it to read
a calendar (maybe sunbird or gCal??) and have an alarm go off a set number
of min/hours before the first event each day??? That would be pretty
sweet.

Just a thought. I know that would be pretty hard to implement.
