Notes:
[2012/2/28 pfefferz] Put notes here.
[2012/4/6 vishalbhoj] The comparison of running android on fastmodel on i5 4GB Ram machine using an standalone ISIM and the RTSM_A15x14-A7x14 was the same. Running the fastmodels on a EC2 instance has not been advantageous over an i5 4GB Ram. The performance seems to be the best on an i7 8GB ram with 6mb cache. The boot time performance after disabling bootanimation has improved by 30 percent on i5 4GB ram machine.
[2012/4/18 vishalbhoj] The new version of fastmodels will be available sometime in may so we cannot profile the performance of that fastmodel.
[2012/4/23 asac] maybe we can measure the boot time first? I don't see it noted down here.
[2012/4/30 pfefferz] Updating this BP to reflect reality. Vishal communicated his benchmarking in emails and is putting a wiki together to show what he's done.
