Upstream Android perf Patch
Why?
perf won’t build in a kernel that’s part of an Android environment. Since many of the Android patches are making their way into the mainline, the things around the kernel like perf should also be included in this push. Bero created a patch that allows the Linux kernel to build perf in and Android environment. He submitted this patch to each kernel maintainer at Linaro and lkml. This BP will track this patches flow upstream http://
