Whiteboard
Meta:
Headline: Android logger functionality has been accepted to mainline kernel
Roadmap id: CARD-107
Acceptance:
* code accepted to mainline kernel and released
* git commit to mainline logged here in the blueprint
* Android applications can run on a kernel.org kernel with fully functioning application-level logger APIs.
[jakub-pavelek 2013-01-23] For acceptance - either we use same API as Google's patches to - then we need to see something like a test result where stock AOSP with stock AOSP apps can use the logger API.
In any case, I would not want to see us waiting for next AOSP userspace release to verify, accept and close this BP - that can take too long.
Work Items
Work items for backlog:
Follow and monitor community development around logger related to moving it out of staging (likely led by Tim Bird): TODO
