The initial idea is to propagate LoCo team news receiving news through feeds. some people have expressed that this is presicely what Planet Ubuntu does. It is not Planet Ubuntu's reason of being. New LoCo Teams usually do not have the access to posting on Planet Ubuntu until one of its members reaches Ubuntu Membership.
the LNW could generate new feeds from different regions of the world by combining the news feeds of LoCo teams. It can be used in the teams detail page and rss agregation for LoCo Enthusiast that want to follow up an all things LoCo.
