For easier searching (and finding) it is essential to unify the names of the teams.
Where do I find a particular team?
Under
- Region LoCo Team
- Region Ubuntu LoCo Team
- Ubuntu Region LoCo Team
- Grupo Ubuntu Region
- Region Team
- ...
At least any order by (English named) Region would be helpful.

I think that sorting LoCo teams by contry name/region as in https:/
When some one would like to know if there is a LoCo in his country/region he don't know the name of LoCo but he knows the name of his country/region.

I believe that the plan is to phase out that wiki page. I do agree that there needs to be a better way of naming teams.

@cjohnston ye the idea is to replace it with loco.ubuntu.com. in the most part loco teams follow the country ISO codes. IMHO the US-loco teams seem to be the most problematic since they use the friendly state/city names which I know nothing about not being from USA. ~nhandler mentioned in #ubuntu-loco and thought I would add my 2cents.
If we replace with the wiki with loco.ubuntu.com we can do funky things like region points and colors to indicate differnt loco's on a image map of the world. There can also be many different views of the same data.
1) Image with regional colors
2) Sorted by name
3) Sorted by ISO country code
3) Sorted by timezone. (this could be handy at some point0

I am assigning this to the LoCo Council. This really isn't anything that the LoCo Directory can change, it is up to the council to enforce any naming standards.
