Re-provisioning nodes depending on the time of day

Consider the typical office where many workers leave for the day and leave their PCs switched on overnight. MAAS could re-provision these during non-office hours to use as another resource and then put them back as desktop machines in the morning before the workers arrive in the office.

Whiteboard
Scenario:
Office workers go home and company needs to do a lot of overnight processing. Can make use of unsused nodes to handle the processing.
How?
Perhaps Landscape can reboot on a schedule. Node is already allocated in MAAS. Landscape script sets net boot on in MAAS and MAAS pxe boots to a node resource.
Issues:
Does MAAS Node write to the HD on the machine? If so how to restore old state? Hibernate from desktop?
