Share Affinity/Anti-Affinity Scheduler Filters
Imagine the following setup: 2 share back end hosts in Availability Zone (AZ) us-east, another share back end hosts in Availability Zone us-west.
I have my virtual machine in Availability Zone us-east and I have an application that must consume shares only from Availability Zone us-east, because AZ us-west is too slow from network perspective.
Still I want to have maximum protection against share back end host failure and thus distribute my load among all available back end hosts in that AZ.
I have an existing share A in AZ us-east and I want to specify that share B should not end up on the same host, but still in AZ us-east.
For Symmetry reasons (and because it is presumably easy to get) affinity can be added at the same time.
