Wider system integration

Registered by swizzle

1) On double clicking a certain date on the date/time indicator Maya should be immediately opened with an Add Event popover. The popover should be filled in with the actual date and time. This would be a cool and fast way of adding events.

2) By typing letters in the input box of participants suggestions of names/email addresses should be shown. These suggestions/informations could be taken from dexter contacs/libfolks.

Fully agree -- alexander-wilms

I agree too, but I think this is more of an elementaryos item, not specific to maya. We probably have to fork the date indicator to make this work. A maya-specific subitem in this blueprint would be creating a way to open the new event dialog with a certain timestamp. I think this is luna+1 stuff. ~jaapz

Additionally -- Paulius Šukys
It could also show upcoming events

I am interested about how to go about notifying the user of events through the notification daemon. I do not think that notifications for the day's events should pop up at boot. That could get spammy -- fast. So, should the "create event" window have a "Remind" option with variable time, should there be an option in Maya's preferences (or System Settings, if applicable) to remind 15 or 30 or 60 minutes before, or no option at all (a constant time, maybe one hour)?
