Snap Packages provide launchers that include "env BAMF_DESKTOP_FILE_HINT" in the Exec line. This hint makes libbamf-powered applications ignore the icon and likely other features that are specified in our custom launchers. Spotify for example, uses this:

Exec=env BAMF_DESKTOP_FILE_HINT=/var/lib/snapd/desktop/applications/spotify_spotify.desktop /snap/bin/spotify %U

For our needs, removing that desktop file hint allows MenuLibre to set a custom icon. This feature should be make fully automatic or user-friendly.
