FPGA Device Management
Registered by

FPGA is a re-configurable hardware to accelerate workloads. It is normally presented as some device in OS and it can be attached to VM instance. Pre-designed and pre-compiled accelerator binary can be reloaded at run-time so that the FPGA hardware can work for different kinds of workloads, like Gzip, JPEG encoder/decoder. Current OpenStack dose not utilize the re-configurable features of such device. The FPGA device management is proposed to deal with this problem.
