Prototype Touch Support for GTK Apps

Registered by Duncan McGreggor

We're going to start prototyping MT/gesture support for applications, starting with commonly used apps such as evince and eog. Our first efforts will be targeted at mapping gestures to the basic actions. After this basic support, we'll focus on improving the user experience of this. With that in place, we can extend the gesture support for more actions. Finally, the real-world experience gained from this will inform GTK MT implementations.

Whiteboard

[bratsche] Create transition gesture library for gtk apps (libgrope): DONE
[bratsche] Prototype gesture support for evince: DONE

I think we're basically done with the prototyping phase. We've got a good prototype with libgrope support added to evince-gesture. I will move the remainder of the open bugs into appropriate blueprints for Natty.
