We need it in stable.
Already the --host option appeared in 5.0.7rcx. This proposal is better, the option --host is unconsistent and misleading.
I do need it, my server is not working correctly on localhost and needs its ip address.
The need for port specification is obvious, to day it only works on 8069 ;-)
We are now in feb 2010, do you think your proposal has been taken into consideration ?
