parameters are listed and - if possible automatically set - but the user has
the option to override
* controlling the print queue
** printer (real and virtual printers [cups], screen output, email with some
sub fields, file-type)
*** some of this is in module print_job but not compatible with openoffice-report.
** number of copies
* controlling the report formatting
** language
** formatting of numbers / dates
** if and where to print the following report parameters
* the report parameters (used to select specific data)
these fields can be suppressed per report, then the fields do not show up and
the user has no possibility to modify them .

... I think there is some cool ideas here.
It is true it will be great to have the possibility of having an intermediary window in the client(s) that will allows to set developer defined option as report language, number formatting, number of copy.
