OpenStack-Ansible deployments have numerous security mechanisms in place to limit access to critical services. However, there is not a strong set of software firewall configurations to ensure that only the valid traffic is allowed. This spec provides additional protection for misconfigured services as well as mitigation of some types of vulnerabilities until they can be patched.
