Provide a scalable and reliable messaging bus for oslo.messaging based on Qpid Dispatch Router

Registered by Ted Ross

Qpid Dispatch Router is a building block for large-scale, highly-available, and performant messaging interconnect. It provides reliability through redundant topology (like a data network) as opposed to server clustering. This makes it easier to deploy and maintain than a network of messaging brokers.

Qpid Dispatch Router supports AMQP version 1.0 and is fully compatible with Qpid Proton (and the proposed messaging implementation in "qpid-proton-implementation").

What changes are proposed for Oslo? -- @markmc

Ok, no reply - I'm going to assume this is covered by https://blueprints.launchpad.net/oslo.messaging/+spec/qpid-proton-implementation and nothing dispatch specific is needed -- @markmc
