Dynamically Size Dock Icons Based On Display Density
We should investigate dynamically sizing the dock icons based on the target display density. For example, a super high-res display could use bigger icons (therefor making them easier to click) while a relatively low-res display could have smaller icons, making more screen real estate (and making the icons not look ridiculous).

We'd want to stick to sizes that have icons, so there'd be a point where they go up from 48 to 64, or down from 48 to 32. We don't have icon sizes in between, so the icons would look blurry as they'd be scaled from their native size. ~cassidyjames
Does this imply that we wouldn't expose resizing the dock in System Settings anymore? --DanRabbit
I think he means only for defaults. --Harvey
I wonder if we could have a switch or check box that was for dynamically sizing it, and if it was off you can manually size it? ~cassidyjames
Another thing to consider is probably display density. While it makes a lot of sense to have 128px icons on a high dpi display, it might not make sense to have them on a high resolution display that is 30" --DanRabbit
