Smoother Animations

It would be nice if Plank has better and smoother animations, because some of the current ones can be harsh. For instance, when you close an app (that isn't stickied to the dock,) the app icon vanishes with no sort of inertia to smoothen things up. Smoother animations in Plank would really help to polish elementary further. Current violators include:
Opening a new app (that isn't stickied to the dock)
Closing an application (that isn't stickied to the Dock)
Dragging a new app to the dock
Removing an app from the dock
Resizing the dock in Switchboard (Changing the icon size)
Changing themes in Switchboard
Please note that I don't have access to a bare-metal copy of elementary, so some of the things above may be invalid.
