Local server discovery with Avahi

The PyBridge client should automatically detect any server instance running on the local network, allowing the user to connect without requiring knowledge of the server hostname/IP.

The Avahi implementation of Zeroconf for Linux/BSD (see http://avahi.org/) would be a good place to start, but we need to consider how to support other operating systems.
