Remove all localization from *.spec files
Remove all occurrences of description/
files. Save the msgstr's someplace if you are worried about data loss: the
goal is to start with a tabula rasa.

Using whiteboard just to remember about a minor discussion with Jeff about how to handle glibc and locales. Mandriva rebuilds locale-* packages after a newer glibc is built, using the newer glibc-i18ndata. Unless some hard work is expected to be done on localization, splitting locales to allow it be rebuilt frequently without needing to rebuild the full glibc just makes things harder to handle. Not to tell about all the 7+ year old files just replacing upstream glibc ones.
BLOCKED for 48 hours (in case the decision is changed).
Some statistics for mandriva cooker:
- in the main repository, 13 srpms from 5.400 use localized descriptions
- in contrib, 40 packages from ~10.000 follow this way
- ... and there is one package in non-free
So it shouldn't take long to clean up spec files.
