Data units and scale

Splitting units and axis scale seemed to be good idea - for example data could be presented in both logarithmic and linear scale (like decibels and energy). However after some work I think it is not.
If we want to present some data on logarithmic scale we will need to use some ruby functions which are not connected with data. It would be much better if we would told the program which type of data presentation it is.
