ratecard
Development of a rate card for advertising. Two obvious options:
1) posted rate card (recommended)
2) at-will rate card (requires manual inquiries; rates not posted)
posting a rate card will require:
1) offering consistent formatting blocks (er go, a decision on how to format space on and off-line);
2) formatting guidelines for advertising;
3) price-performance (ideally we would have metric for distribution and impact);
4) tiered price system for preferred users (e.g., Exxon pays a premium, but the NEA gets a discount)

Whiteboard
1. Where on the website are we willing to sell space?
* everywhere (JON)
2. Do we farm out space sales, or do we keep it in-house (the latter would be my preference)
** in-house. google ads suck and are totally not appropriate for custom content like ours... (JON)
