Aliasing in sipwitch provisioning
Registered by
David Sugar
An alias should be used to establish an alternate identity for an existing registered entry. This is needed for application servers, since the app server may only register once under one id, but may accept requests under multiple provisioned identities to run separate applications.
An alias has two properties; a "target" for the registration identity actually used, and an optional "dialed" property to replace the effective "To:" dialed string.
