Converting files to MP3-V0

While this is the best audio-converter out there, my only peeve about it is that I use V0 mp3 files for my iPod, yet, for VBR, I can't find it. The best quality there renders files with lower bit-rates than when I convert to V0 using Audacity. I was hoping there was a way to rename the qualities on VBR to V0, V1, etc.

When using the best quality setting in SoundConverter, you are using lame with V0.
You can check this by running "soundconverter --debug", the gstreamer commands are printed in the terminal.
The settings will be revamped in soundconverter3, with an "advanced" view to see the real used parameters.
