Use case: Keep track of gear usage (shoes)

Running shoes wear out over time or distance. To be able to track the total distance you have used a special pair of shoes would benefit runners alot. A minor alert could be given to the user at specific threshold "Time to buy a new pair of shoes".

Alert could also be given after a time interval e.g. 2 years since first time these shoes were used.
