Jan 2013 - iFolder seems to have become abandonware. It's functionality is provided (and betered) by ownCloud (which was release with TKL v12).
Q: Is Ifolder like dropbox? Mac based software I assume.
A: Yes & No - iFolder is very much like Dropbox, big difference being that you host the server as well (rather than someone else eg Dropbox.com). And despite the name, it has nothing to do with Mac (although there is a Mac client available). For further details, check out the TKL Dev Wiki page (link above - 'Read the full specification').
[update] iFolder has received very little dev attention for sometime and basically seems to have stalled. Besides support in Ubuntu seems pretty flakey and troublesome to implement.
