Knowledge Tree is a full featured document management system. I aim to make it available through turnkeylinux as a virutal appliance, because i think it'll be a value addition (and i would also move a little closer to giving something back to the open source that is giving me so much!)

Jan 2013 - KnowledgeTree has gone commercial hosted only (despite their continuing claims that the code is open source). The downloadable/self-hosted version has been deleted from sourceforge and the community forum has been locked. Due to the slick and IMO deceptive 'open source' licencing it is not realistic to even attempt to fork the code (the licence states categorically that NO LICENSE IS GIVEN to use the KnowledgeTree logo, but it also states that any derivatives MUST INCLUDE the logo on every page of the app).
This in effect creates a situation that if you don't use the logo, you are in breach of the licence, if you do use the logo you potentially open yourself up to litagation for using the logo without permission...

As such there is no likelihood that a TKL KT appliance will ever be released...
