Pentaho has been recomended as the "multi linking" system of choice. Ideally there would e a number of prebuilt links between various Appliances, such as "V-Tiger to Magento" OpenErp to Magento... Also, this is said to be the best way to connect with legacy ERP (ie FoxPro or Non OpenSource) systems.
