Refresh Available Packages after Changing Application List Selection
When using the Add/Remove programs feature, the packages available do not automatically refresh when the user changes the available applications group they wish to select from.
For example:
User changes from 'Supported Ubuntu Applications' to 'All available applications'. Then the user searches for the package they would like to install. The available packages list has not yet refreshed however so despite selecting 'All available applications' the user is still only searching 'Supported Ubuntu Applications'.
When the user selects 'All available applications' the list of available applications should automatically refresh.

Whiteboard
Currently the user has to close add/remove programs and then reopen it again to refresh it. This probably isn't natural to an inexperienced user.
