GPS on netbooks
GPS use-cases are only covered to the minimum in ubuntu; most prominent example is geoclue for firefox/chromium, which allows user to share his location through a web api.
This blueprint explores how gps can support more use-cases; current suggestions include:
* gps integration for timezone selection in clock
* gps usage to set/synch system clock (maybe as a ntp alternative)
* google maps integration -> display current location in a standalone google maps widget.
* gpsdrive -> allows to track openstreemap
