Whiteboard

The desktop team would like to reduce the number of supported iso for the desktop client to 1:
- drop the CD size limitation
- ship an "usb" image with a limit of 800MB
- drop the DVD image
- drop the alternate image if possible (depend of the work of https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/foundations-q-ubiquity-lvm-luks)
- merging amd64+mac into amd64 is out of scope for this

The 800MB target is taken from https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-release/2012-June/001303.html ff.

Release Notes:
In 12.10, the CD and DVD Ubuntu Desktop images are being consolidated into a single 800MB image usable on a USB disk or a DVD.
